Montjuc - Best View in Spain.

Barcelona has lately started working on installing walkways and escalators to attach visitors to the harder-to-navigate sections.

Among these sections is the Font del Gat, once a trendy modernista cafeteria designed by Josep Puig i Cadafalch. Music blasts from loudspeakers, and varicolored lighting illuminates the dancing waters of the fountain.

Once you are settled on Montjuic, there's lots to do and see. Later, Jap designer Arata Isozaki added a walkway, yard, and entrance to set off the art stored inside. At any particular time, you are also sure to find performances related to the art being exhibited, especially world music and modern dance, and there's a brilliant book shop in the foyer.

In 1992, the Olympic Games were held in Barcelona, Spain, exposing most of the planet for the 1st time to the colourful, rich town that had grown here over time. Port Olimpic was built in particular to host the Olympic Games , and became the most successful and well-liked section of the Nova Icaria project.

The Hotel humanities Barcelona is one of the Ritz Carlton chain, and is reputedly the best hotel in Barcelona. It is wonderful perspectives of the Mediterranean, Barcelona, and the mountains behind the city.

In the Hotel Arts Barcelona, you can find the Enoteca restaurant, featuring Mediterranean cuisine by Cook Jaime Perez and some of the best wines produced in Spain. For more informal dining, try the Arola or the Bar Quay , also in the Hotel humanities. The entrance, a fax of the gateway to Avila, leads you to the middle of the town, where you may have drinks at the out of doors cafeteria, or visit the flamenco taberna and other nightspots. The Museu Militar de Montjuic is located within the Castell de Montjuic, a fortress all the way back to the 1600s that overlooks the sea. It surveys the long history of Barcelona, from the Iberian prehistory to the Greek, Roman, and Carthaginian periods, including many artifacts that were revealed awfully close by.
