Barcelona is an example of those places you arrive to and right away feel comfortable. You step off the airplane and the heat hits you immediately - particularly if you arrive in summer time. Some stay thanks to the various culture here, others due to work and many as they just need to try living here some time to work out if it works out. It took me a few spanish lessons and rather a lot of practice to really decode between the 2 languages - Spanish and Catalan. Thinking back in retrospect though , I do not know how I could not spot the difference. Getting back to Barcelona, there's so much to do here - so much in truth that you might never lose interest.
